Christmas Cookies

This year, Steve and I decided to bake holiday cookies. In years passed, we’ve made traditional Italian cookies like pizzelles and biscotti (so delicious), but we wanted to try our hand at something else. We chose a simple gingerbread recipe, and we held our breath. 

The cookies were delicious! The dough was easy to roll out, and the shapes came out pretty easily. But we did learn that neither of us is particularly talented at decorating cookies! Apologies for the less than beautiful designs, but we promise – they were delicious!
