May was a busy month! We celebrated Jason’s birthday a few times this year. First, I surprised Jason by taking him to see Billy Joel. He has always loved his music and wouldn’t stop talking about him being on tour so I couldn’t resist. Our seats were amazing and I am glad we went.
A week after Jason’s birthday we decided to have a few friends over for a potluck. Everyone’s kids ran around outside playing games, the adults played lawn games and pulled out guitars and hand drums for a nice evening of singing with friends. Two of our friend’s sons decided to make “Uncle Jason” a birthday cake; it was delicious and such a sweet gesture.
Jason and his dad just got back from their annual father son trip. Every year they head up to the mountains for a weekend to go fishing and other activities. They didn’t catch a single fish and didn’t see any elk at the Elk Reserve but they still had a great time making memories.
