Florida was great and I am thankful to be home:) We had a wonderful time with Paul’s family. They own a farm and we had a blast feeding the chickens, baby goats, a baby cow, and riding a tractor! I got to feed a baby cow and she was so cute! Definitely more slobbery than anything I have bottle fed before haha! Audrey enjoyed getting the chicken eggs each morning and helping Pop Pop and Nana make scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Disney was amazing! We got to go with Paul’s parents (Nana and Pop Pop), Auntie Boo and Uncle Shawn (Paul’s step sister Brooke and husband), and Uncle Justin and his kids Rissa and Ivy. Audrey had a wonderful time playing with her cousins and meeting all the disney princesses. Her favorite was Ariel and Belle! She even wore her princess dresses to meet them.
Paul and I also got to go on a double date with Paul’s parents to a dinner/dance fundraiser for the Women’s Cattle Association (hahah Paul comes from a southern family). It was fun wearing our cowboy boots and practicing our two stepping skills. We also got to chat with tons of ranchers and learned about cow breeding. Not sure if that will come in handy in Colorado, but it was interested listening and learning.
Other highlights, I got to disect a cat in my Anatomy and Phyisology class! It was definietly the most fun day in class this semster! I have a test next week so I will be spending lots of time at Starbucks and drinking coffee. Paul is training for a half marathon so he will be taking Audrey out on some long runs.
Thinking about you! I wonder what your family is like? Did you grow up in Colorado or around farms? Our family in Florida is so excited to invite a new baby into the family – I wonder if the baby will love the farm as much as we do:) Praying for you!
