I’ll never forget the look on Reid’s face when we first started dating. He told me he was from New Mexico, and I asked if he’d gotten to play in the snow when he was a kid. I could tell from his expression that he thought this was a ridiculous question, but then he explained that he lived in the mountains, so it snowed quite a bit. Now we’re back in his home town and it sure does snow! Tonight, even though it’s mid-May, we’re supposed to have a cold snap, so I spent some time bundling up the tomatoes and peppers I planted, probably a few weeks earlier than I should have.
Today was a pretty typical day- Calvin went to school, Reid went to work, I ran errands and caught up on yard work. We had leftovers for supper and chatted about our days before Calvin had his bath. Now he and Reid are reading stories before bed.
Can you tell I’m no good at selfies? Hopefully I’m better at gardening (but probably not much!)
