a few weeks ago I had the opportunity to be a counselor for a camp for kids in foster care. It is an RFK camp (Royal Family Kids Camp). This was my 4th year as a camp counselor. Each year we get to go up a day early and decorate the campers cabin before they come. We chose to go with an Under the Sea theme. SO I found a pattern for these Jellyfish/Octopus dolls that are crocheted and couldn’t help myself. Myself and a co-counselor made 1 for each of the girls! These are the ones I made aren’t they so much fun!
I can’t wait to make fun things like this for my own kids one day! I had so much fun planning a theme and finding decorations. I imagine these creative skills will come in handy for birthday party planning when I have children. 🙂 Here is just some of what else we did with the decorations.
I made Jellyfish out of trash bags.
and a school of fish!
Camp is always so much fun and such a rewarding experience.
