Reflections from Kim- Our 10 Year Wedding Anniversary
We recently passed our 10 year anniversary. Not really sure how, but time has flown by so quickly. We figured we would take some time to celebrate with one another and go on vacation. We decided it would be fun to do a little bit of adventure-tourism. Our agenda consisted of Kayaking, Hiking, Zip-line, Parasailing, and more.
We had so much fun doing all of these things, honestly all fo which we have done before. Out of all of the activities my favorite activity was watching the ocean waves roll back and forth and feeling the heat of the sun. Eddie doesn’t have quite the same relationship that I have with the sun though. While he enjoyed the ocean he preferred sitting in the shade.
Each night we would head out and enjoy the local musicians playing classics like the Beatles and the Eagles.
Of course we can’t forget the food. We at so much Mexican food and loved it. Internationally we don’t find good Mexican unless it is coming out of our home, so it was nice to have so many options for authentic Mexican food. Eddie said it was just like Eddies grandma’s home cooking- something he really misses. He reminisced about how only his grandma could make tortilla’s perfectly circular- and no one else in the family could come close. We haven’t made home made tortillas, but is sounds like it might be time to learn.
That is about it for our 10 year anniversary vacation. We had so much fun and look forward to celebrating again in 15 years for our 25th!
Oh yeah…Eddie is working on getting his CrossFit certification, so he spent some of his lesure time reading up on the test. I will let you know how he does in a few weeks.
