Esteban has a small family: just one sister, just one aunt and uncle, and two cousins. Thankfully they are all very close, and we were excited to hear that his cousin Vivi and her children and husband were coming to Florida for Disney World and a trip to Miami. Their youngest daughter has a physical disability, and so it was a big project for them to come from Argentina with all the accomodations they need for her. They had a wonderful time at Disney, which is very accomodating for special needs, and last night they came over for dinner. We had such a nice time! They loved our yard and had fun feeding the duck family that lives out there. The littlest girl loves to draw and was so happy that we had paper and colored pencils for her. She drew Esteban an elephant, his favorite animal. The older sister is so sweet, and she and Melissa had fun playing with the cats and chatting in Spanish. Our cats are very gentle with children, and we had fun dangling yarn for them. Lots of giggles! So glad we can cultivate a relationship with those precious girls and their parents despite the distance!
