This past weekend, we had gorgeous weather in North Carolina. Flowers are in bloom and the sun has been out, which we love! On Saturday morning, we ate pancakes for breakfast, which was fun. Eliza has been battling a cold all week, so she went back to bed after breakfast to rest while Dan and Annie went to the playground. Eliza played a concert with a choral group in the evening.
On Sunday morning, we went to church, came home for lunch and a nap. Then it was time to head over to our neighborhood’s annual Easter egg hunt. Annie was excited! We got to see a few friends there, and watch all the kids run around searching for eggs. It was a short, but fun hunt!
In the afternoon, Annie also went to Awana. Awana is a really great program for kids to learn Bible stories and memorize Bible verses. We are so grateful for all she (and we) have learned this year!
