About a week and a half ago was our county fair and it’s always a big week for our family and church. The fair around here is pretty big and our church helps out with all of the parking. Drew and I volunteer our time to help with this service to the community. It’s lots of fun to spend time with friends from church and serve others. Grandma, Grandpa, Nana, and Papa soak up this time of spending time with the kids while we park some cars too!
We don’t just park cars at the fair, we definitely take some time to enjoy all the animals, rides, and food as a famiy with Jamesen and Kensington! This is something that we look forward to every year to have fun together as a family. This year Jamesen enjoyed his first rodeo! I took him on a mommy son date to the rodeo and I think we will definitely make this a tradition to do every year together. As Kensington gets a little older, we will have her join in on the fun too!
Kensington isn’t big enough to ride any rides by herself yet, but she went on the ferris wheel with us as a family and on a firetruck ride with Jamesen and I. Wednesday was kids day, so Nana took Kensington and Jamesen to the fair and Jamesen had a blast in the kiddieland, which is where all the rides are from smaller children. I met up with them for lunch at the fair and the kids were definitey tired after such a busy, fun packed day!
