Last saturday was a packed weekend for the boys. Saturday we had a birthday party for one of the girls who lives next to us. They rented a dunk tank with the intention of letting the kids dunk the adults, but the actual outcome was about eight kids using it as a pool to bob around in. Eventually they got around to dunking each other. After a round of cake and some party games we went inside for a bit. Not long after it was time to go to the block party.
The HOA board did a fantastic job setting up a bounce house, games, a face painting station, and food!

The week wasn’t as fun. I had to got to Rhode Island for work. Admittedly a lovely place, but unfortunately I didn’t get to see a lot of the area. Too much work to do! I did spend some time one evening going on a run in Newport along what they call the Cliff Walk. It was a wonderful and very scenic run. I got back Wednesday late night so I didn’t see the boys until Thursday after work. We spent that evening at the local trampoline park jumping and palying games.

This Saturday we went to a nearby petting zoo and the boys got to see monkeys, camels, alligators, snakes, foxes, lemurs, and a whole host of other animals.
