Last weekend was simple but magical. With spring arriving, Saturday afternoon Efraim and I took a short walk to a river and threw stones in. It was so sweet that Efraim wanted to keep going back to get more stones to keep throwing more and more in. I am very thankful we live so close to nature and that nature is an important part of our lives. Saturday night we had a potluck dinner with several people. A very good friend of ours died of cancer in the fall, and we started these regular potluck dinners to give company and comfort to her widower, but it’s been nice for all of us to get together and spend time getting to know each other better. Sunday, we visited a friend in a town close by. She lives in a house surrounded by brooks and trees next to a hay pasture of rolling hills. It was Heaven to walk around and explore.
