In the Netherlands we have an outstanding healthcare system. For a small amount of money everyone is secured against most diseases. Costs for seeing a doctor, visits to a hospital and even all the common surgeries are being paid by the insurance companies.
Children under the age of 18 are insured for free with the same level of quality as adults. That makes it possible for children to get access to the best medical care there is. The Netherlands is well known for the good quality of it’s medical care all around the country.
We think it’s really nice that we never have to think about how we finance medical issues. Doctors can fully focus on making people better instead of also focusing on the financial side of things. Good medical care is a first life need and in our country it’s organized in an awesome way!
