Esteban just returned from a little trip to Argentina to see his family, so we made sure to make the most of our long weekend together! We did some unpacking, errands, and cleaning on Saturday and Sunday, but we fully relaxed on Memorial Day. As a special treat, Melissa made Esteban’s favorite flavor of ice cream, called sambayón, which is a flavor no one sells in the U.S. It is a rich gelato and so yummy! We also grilled some hamburgers and corn on the cob, and wrapped up the evening with a lovely fire in our fire pit. Having grown up in a very urban area, Esteban never had a yard to enjoy and loves to take it easy in our big backyard. We love being together, and this was a great weekend to reconnect after his trip away (btw, we usually travel together and we’ll be going to Argentina again soon!
