November started off fun! Chloe did a photoshoot of our dog Linus for a restaurant/bar in Philly called Good Dog Bar. Every year people get to submit their photos of the pup to compete for prizes and all of the dogs get a permanent place on their wall. This is Linus’s second time having his photo hung up there. This year he posed with a nice hat while gazing out of the window. He looked very handsome. That was followed up by a packed weekend with friends. Dinner plans Friday and Saturday night and a surpised birthday brunch for a friend on Sunday. We celebrated Chloe’s birthday and one of our friends birthday’s the following weekend.
The end of the month was just as packed as the beginning. We had an early Thanksgiving dinner with a group of friend’s Chloe went to college with. It has become a very nice tradition including pets and children, the house gets very packed and full of laughter.
Chloe’s sister decided to come to town this year for Thanksgiving along with old friends from New York who used to spend the holidays with Chloe’s family. Our friends came to visit a few days after the holiday to spend the weekend out of the city and get some time in with my sister. We spent the night making tie-dye shirts, hand towels, and baby onsies. We had an amazing time as always. Every time my sister comes to town we all get together for a big slumber party, cook amazing food, play games and find a craft of some sort to do. Sadly our pup Linus passed away a few days after Thanksgiving bringing a lot of sadness to family and friends. He was well loved by everyone who met him.
