Chloe flew out to LA for a long weekend to work as the behind the scene photographer on a film her sister has been creating over the past few years. It was nice to get to work with a crew that has become like a second family once again. One of the locations for the film was located down a treacerous cliff that lead to the remains of an old ship wreck. It was not any easy location to get the crew and gear to but it was well worth it in the end. The shots were amazing! Chloe also found time to see a few of her cousins while in LA to celebrate a family birthday. Sadly this trip was short and there was not much time to see friends while there but working with her sister is always rewarding. Once she returned to PA she was packed with family photo sessions; the fall is always the busiest season for family portraits.
Jason’s work was consumed by a bathroom renovation which turned out beautifully. He also had a chili night with friend’s while Chloe was out of town for work. He prepared the chili in the house and then took it outside to cook on the fire. He said it was a lot of fun and his first time cooking chili was a success.
Chloe’s parents took us to see Young Frankenstein the musical, Chloe grew up on the Mel Brooks movie and it was just as good live. We love to find time to get to the city with Chloe’s folks a few times a year to see theater, the orchestra, or the ballet. It is always a nice treat to find time for family doing something new.
We wrapped up the month celebrating Jason’s older brother’s 40th birthday. It was a nice and calm family night.
