My sister, Beth, and I went home this past weekend to see our family since we had limited time this past Christmas to be together. Chris had to travel for work so wasn’t able to join us but he was there in spirit. Unfortunately, there was basically a blizzard the majority of time we were home (February in WI is rough!). The good news is there was lots of time for games with my three nephews.
On Saturday, it stopped snowing enough to get out of the house so we all went bowling. Maybe it was the weather or the cabon fever, but everyone did strangely well. I wouldn’t say we’re a family of natural talented bowlers, but everyone scored over 100 and there were more strikes and spares than any game I’m been part of before.
My youngest nephew also had a party in which they all dressed as Greek gods from mythology. Check out this amazing Poseidon costume my sister in law and brother made!
It reminds me of making costumes for me and my sisters at Halloween when we were younger. I once made a cow costume for one and a giant carton of milk for the other. The cow turned out much better. 🙂
