Esteban has the week off for Thanksgiving break (one of the perks of being a professor), and we decided to work on a jigsaw puzzle. Back when he was finishing graduate school and we lived in Chicago, we passed our last, long winter there with so many puzzles. It was a great distraction for him, since the job hunt and PhD thesis were both so stressful. We moved into Mango House this summer, so it is the first time since Chicago that we’ve had space for a puzzle and can keep the cats from playing with the pieces! Sitting together, working together to make sense of a mess of little pieces that will form something lovely, is relaxing and fun. We get silly while we work and we help each other find the pieces we need. It’s a cute, dorky thing we like to do, and we thought this fall scene was a perfect puzzle for Thanksgiving week!
