With the holidays upon us , I have been doing a lot of reflecting. I have been deep in thought about what I am grateful for , my family and friends. My health and the health of my loved ones. Being healthy is a huge blessing, one I will never take for granted for myself or that of one’s close to me. This season I am also blessed to have been able to donate to families in need. For the past 12 years I have participated in adopting a family for the holidays and I am so grateful to be able to continue this tradition for many years to come . I hope to pass the joy of giving to my future children. The wait for hopeful waiting to adopt individuals can be extremely difficult especially around this time. I find comfort in knowing I will teach my child the importance of giving and helping others. That together my child and myself will someday experience the joyous feeling of making another family smile on Christmas morning (or holiday that their faith celebrates) . Of course I am also so excited to be able to give my child a wonderful Christmas of their own filled with presents and holiday traditions as well!!!
