The Joining of Two Families
(A Short Story About Us)
We met at a basketball game when we were juniors in high school and have been together ever since. We spent our time together riding around, going to the movies, eating pizza and Chinese food, riding dirt bikes, going to the lake with friends, fishing, hunting, and working on Ben’s Jeep.

After high school, we both went to different colleges, but we managed to see each other almost every weekend. After Tammy graduated from college, Ben bought her an engagement ring…..along with an engagement shot gun! We were married May 18, 2002. The music at the wedding definitely fit us. We walked into “Fishing in the Dark” and we walked out to “Chain Gang.” Our cake was definitely one of our favorite parts of the wedding. We went to Colorado and Yellowstone National Park for our honeymoon.
