Stephen asked me to Van Gogh “Gogh” on a date. What I loved most about strolling in the museum was hearing Stephen talk about what he observed. He is so attuned to and appreciates the skill and the technical aspects behind the paintings. I love the story and emotion in each one. He pointed out techniques and little observations that I would have missed. We each had our own favorite, for very different reasons. We listened to Starry, Starry Night on the way to dinner and talked about the life and tragic loss of Van Gogh. It was a reminder that every life is precious and that every person, just like every work of art, tells a profound story.
10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10
