We have been extremely fortunate to visit both Phoenix, AZ and Spain this fall/winter for the first time.
We traveled to Phoenix for a long weekend in October to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had an absolute blast trying new restaurants, exploring the city, and visiting the local aquarium, butterfly exhibit, and Biosphere 2 in Oracle!
We also traveled with friends through the south of Spain in November and managed to hit the following cities: Malaga, Seville, Cadiz, Estepona, Marbella, and Rhonda! Both of us love travelling (hence the nursery theme) and visiting other countries and for the first time we got to explore a new country together. We saw some amazing cities, beautiful architecture, stunning views, and gorgeous landscapes. We even picked up a baby book in Spanish from the Picasso museum. Our friends joined us along with their 1.5 year old son and we absolutely loved every minute of the trip. Rachel got to play “Auntie” and introduce him to the ocean which he adored and giggled hysterically. On the last day of the trip, he “found” Kat’s hair and was mesmorized by running his hands through it smiling and laughing.
The only thing that could have made the trip even better would be to share the experiences with our own child. We can hardly wait to be chosen as parents and shower our baby with love and adventure!
