It’s been busy here the past few months! Christina competed in a karate tournament in November and was happy to have improved her performance from the last competition 2 years ago. Always interesting to challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone to see how you can grow and improve.
This year we hosted both a Friends-giving and Thanksgiving at our home and had a great time with family, friends, and coworkers. Got to meet a new baby cousin, eat some jerk turkey (soooo good!) and play lots of fun charades and games. Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday. I really enjoy the food at this time of the year AND i appreciate the chance to really acknowledge all that I am thankful/grateful for in my life. “No one has ever become poor by giving” – Anne Frank.
Moving into the other holiday season, we went to see a fantastic light maze in Washington, DC at the National’s Stadium. So beautiful! Helped to get us in the Christmas spirit. We put up our tree and and been having fun with the Elf on the Shelf. We have named him Ice Tray (Tray, for short) and he gets around our house into all kinds of mischief. We look forward to finding him everyday.
